CK722

Description

The CK722 is a powerful and flexible network controller for the Johnson Controls® P2000AE Security Management System (SMS).

With its user programmable Custom Logic capabilities, the CK722 controller is able to address many requirements that previously required the presence of external Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) hardware, relays, or special wiring.

With its advanced Access Control features and peer-to-peer communication, the CK722 controller takes over functions previously confined to a host computer.

The provided library of standard door templates significantly simplifies the configuration of doors and readers inside the CK722 controller.

Features

•expandable modular design — allows for multiple CK722 controllers to be connected via Ethernet; total system capacity is 2,048 doors per P2000AE server

•easy integration with P2000AE software — allows the CK722 controller to be connected to, programmed, and monitored via the P2000AE server

•two buses on each CK722 controller — support up to 32 field devices per bus, for a maximum of 64 field devices per controller

•optional mounting on a flat surface, DIN rail, or inside a specified UL-listed enclosure — enables easy installation

Library of Card Formats

The CK722 controller draws from a library of card formats for most conventional installations.

To meet any additional requirement, new card formats can be created, copied, edited, as well as exported and imported. Customized card formats can be deployed without requiring a software upgrade for the CK722 controller, the Software Configuration Tool (SCT), or the P2000AE.

Library of Standard Door Templates

The CK722 controller is configured with the P2000AE SCT.

The SCT comes with a library of standard door templates, such as Card-In-Card-Out, Card-In (Motion Out), Door Contact with Local Alarm, and Door Contact Only, for most conventional installations. To meet any additional requirements, the SCT allows templates to be created, copied, edited, as well as exported and imported. Customized solutions can be deployed without requiring a software upgrade for the CK722 controller, the SCT, or the P2000AE.
